With the Roadster II Series, Tanglewood continues its long-standing commitment to sustainable forestry and fine craftsmanship, combining responsibly sourced tonewoods with the brand’s signature attention to detail.

Each Roadster II model features a carefully graded Canadian Spruce top paired with Indonesian Mahogany back and sides, producing a tone that is both rich and well-balanced, with a warm low end and crisp clarity that rings true from the very first strum.

The TWR2DE Dreadnought is designed for players seeking that classic, full-bodied acoustic voice, powerful projection, deep resonance, and plenty of dynamic range. Finished in Natural Satin, the wood’s organic beauty is celebrated, enhancing both the instrument’s look and tonal response.

Unlike many models, the Roadster II series forgoes body binding, requiring extra precision from Tanglewood’s luthiers to create seamless, smooth body joins. The result is a clean, earthy aesthetic that highlights the natural grain of the timber.

A Black Walnut bridge and Eboncore fingerboard provide a sleek playing surface and excellent tonal transfer, while the TW-EX4 preamp system ensures faithful, natural amplification when performing live or recording.

Fitted with Phosphor Bronze 12-53 gauge strings, the TWR2DE is ready to deliver a vibrant tone right out of the box.
